Our Story...

Over 15 years ago, our Executive Director, Megan Elder, envisioned a more inclusive community and took action by founding a ministry dedicated to teens with intellectual and developmental disabilities, creating an environment of acceptance and connection. Alongside her husband, Justin, they expanded their family, adopting two incredible daughters, Mila and Audrey, both of whom have Down syndrome. Mila, affectionately known as "Moose," developed an early love for baking, sparking the idea that would eventually become Moose & Me Bakery.

What started as simple family time in the kitchen quickly grew into something much larger—a bakery with a mission. Moose’s passion for baking ignited a desire to serve the community with delicious treats while providing meaningful employment opportunities for individuals of all abilities.
